{Mini-Book}

I made this mini-book, using toilet roll tubes! I am taking part in a mini-book swap over on the Magical Crafts forum, and the theme was Magical and Mystical. As I was browsing challenge blogs, I found that the Papertake Weekly challenge is "Angels and Fairies" this week, so that ties in nicely :o)

So, a few pictures...
The front cover.

The fairy images are from the Fairy Whimsy set at Artful Inkables. The stamp on the tag that reads "Fairy, Whimsy, Magic" is from the same set. The flowers were resized and cut on the Craft Robo, then layered to almost make a frame around the fairies.

The Pages...

I really love that big flower - another craft robo make :o)

Pockets are formed by the tubes, and I made a few pull-out tags that fit snuggly inside.

I made lots of tags and marked them alphabetically, then found fairy names and meaning for almost all of them - think there were two letters I couldn't find names for.

I hope you like it! I have uploaded a video of me talking about it to Youtube, you can see it here.
Thanks for popping by!
Hugs
Julia xx

This is a fantastic idea. I had never thought of using toilet rolls to make a mini book. I may have to steal the idea at some point. Watched the video and it is great that you go through how you do it. I think I'm addicted to your videos as I'm always checking to see if you've produced another one to get tips and techniques.
